October 11, "Fall Light"
Today I painted with the Plein Air Artist of Colorado at the wonderful home of Jean Widman a fantastic artist herself. I found this old tree full of character that just screamed "Paint Me". The only down side was I forgot my camera. I hope I captured the fall light well enough.

You did Ted. This is a really lovely rendering of the willow. I, on the other hand could not quite capture the glow it had, that you caught so well. But, I did stay long enough to hear the great elk bugle!
